David McCleary Sheldon professionally known as Mac Lethal is an American rapper. He is also the founder of Black Clover Records. As of 2019, Mac Lethal net worth is estimated to be $3 million.
Born on July 25, 1981, in Kansas City, Missouri, Mac began rapping from an early age. Moreover, he used to take part in rap battling from rival Kansas City high schools. Lethal’s father Warren Sheldon was also a musician during his time while his mother Ruth Sheldon was running her dress boutique.
His rapping skills gained popularity amongst the Kansas hip hop community and in 2001 he released his debut EP titled “Moon Thinker”. Furthermore, he released his debut album titled “Men are from Mars, Pornstars are from Earth” in 2002.
In 2006, Lethal founded Black Clover Records and went on to release the second and third volume of “The Love Potion Collection” the same year. Next year, he released his second studio album “11:11” which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
In 2012, Mac released the singles “You’re vs. Your”, “How to Make Your Own Chick-fil-A”, “Beatbox + iPhone + Guitar + Fast Rap = Win”. In 2014, Mac released his fourth studio album “Postcards from Kansas City”.
In addition to his music career, he was offered a contract from Sony but he denied the deal in 2011. He also served a host of the TV show “Binge Thinking”. Moreover, Mac started a YouTube series called “Mac Lethal Raps About Strangers”. In the series, random strangers email Mac about a certain topic and Mac would upload a video of him performing the rap.
Recently, he has got into a feud with rapper Tom MacDonald. Tom has delivered a vicious response towards him releasing a song called “Mac Lethal Sucks”.
Regarding his personal life, Mac is neither married nor dating anyone at present. However, he has two children a son named Rockwell Carlin Sheldon and a daughter named Maple. It is still a mystery who is the mother of two children.
