Early Life
Koepka was born on May 3, 1990, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He studied at Cardinal Newman High School and would later join Florida State University. There, he was a very active golf player and won several accolades including being a three-time All-American.
He has a younger brother named Chase who is today also a professional golfer. His father Bob Koepka also has a background in sports with his being the strikeout leader for West Virginia Wesleyan’s baseball team.

Koepka made his debut as a member of the European Tour at the Scottish Open. Then, in 2014 he would win the Turkish Airlines Open and overall had a great year with several top finishes. That year he was also named as the European Tour’s Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year.
This brought the confidence in Koepka to carry on the next year to a new level. He didn’t disappoint either as Koepka won his first PGA Tour event at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. 2017 would be a major year for Koepka as he won his first major championship at the U.S. Open. By next year, he would move to number one in the Official World Golf Ranking after a win at the CJ Cup.
Koepka also became the first golfer to win consecutive U.S. Opens since Curtis Strange in 1988 and 1989. To top it off, he also won his third major at the 2018 PGA Championship. There is tough competition in the current scenario but Koepka looks to be a personality that others would rather fear as he has been able to make his mark in 2018 and is trying to build upon it in 2019.
