Early Life
He was born on June 21, 1978, in Winter Park, Florida. He studied at Seminole High School and later continued his studies at Georgia Tech. There, his studies were focused on management, yet he was active in golf as well, which would turn into his career.

It took him the year of 2007 to win the Henrico County Open that would see him finish tenth on the Nationwide Tour Money list that would eventually lead back his PGA Tour card. 2009 also signified an important year in his career having won the biggest tournament that was The Players Championship in his hometown of Florida. The win elevated Kuchar to a career high of number five in the world rankings.
Coming to recent days, in 2018 PGA Tour campaign, he had a lot of setbacks that would see him in the losing side. On March 31, 2019, Kuchar reached the championship round of the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play for the second time in his career.
He has had a pretty steady career but he has been a part of some controversy recently. During the most recent PGA Tour season, he had taken a winning check of well over $1.2 million. Yet, during this event, his normal caddie wasn’t available and as a result, he had hired someone else, which in this case was David Giral. He was paid $5000 in total which was only a mere 0.38 percent tip of the total earnings although the average payout is usually 10 percent.
This incident became a viral sensation on the internet and Kuchar had a bad image in the public eye. Actually, Ortiz was hired and agreed to the terms presented. But, this was presented badly on the internet. Eventually, Kuchar apologized and agreed to pay Ortiz the requested $50,000.
