Sarah Sellers is an American long-distance runner. She is known for being the runner up in the 2018 Boston Marathon.
Early Career
Sarah was born on July 10, 1991, in Tucson, Arizona which makes her now 27 years old. She went to Ogden High School and then Weber State University. During her time at college, she ran from 2009-12 where she became nine-time Big Sky Conference champion.
Her college career was cut short after she was forced out following a stress fracture of her left navicular bone. She also competed in several cross-country tournaments.

Sarah won the Huntsville Marathon in Utah in her marathon debut which also gave a pass to run for the 2018 Boston Marathon. At that event, she completed the race at 2:44:04 becoming runner up. As she finished second she earned $75,000.
Sarah who is coached by Paul Pilkington also competed in the NYRR Mini 10k race in Central Park in 2018. In 2018 New York City Marathon she came in 18th position finishing the race at 2 hours, 36 minutes and 37 seconds.
She is now returning to a Boston Marathon for the 2nd year in a row.
