Kyle Williams is a retired American footballer who played 13 seasons with the Buffalo Bills as a defensive tackle. He was drafted by Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of 2006 NFL Draft.

Born on June 10, 1983, in Ruston, Louisiana, Williams attended Ruston High School where he started playing football, baseball, and track. During his senior year, he was named 5A Louisiana Defensive MVP after recording 78 tackles, 17 for losses and 7 sacks as a senior.
Williams received several offers from colleges like Auburn, Nebraska, Florida and Tennessee but decided to play with Louisiana State University where he played for the LSU Tigers football. He played 46 games with Tigers where he finished his career with 16.5 quarterback sacks, 26 tackles for loss and 140 total tackles. His best season at college came as a senior where he recorded 61 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
Kyle was picked by Buffalo Bills in the 5th round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He signed a three year, $1.80 million-contract including a signing bonus of $144,750. He made his debut against New England Patriots where he recorded six combined tackles in their 19-17 loss. He completed his rookie season with 11 starts recording 53 combined tackles and a pass deflection. In 2007, he started all 16 games and recorded 41 combined tackles and two sacks.
In 2008, Williams signed a three-year deal, $14.5 million-contract including $5.70 million guaranteed and signing bonus of $1.79 million. He finished his third season starting 16 games, recording 55 combined tackles and two sacks.
During his 13 seasons with Buffalo Bills, Williams was selected five times in Pro Bowl. He ranked fifth in the Bills history in tackles and sacks. Associated Press described him as “the heart and soul of the Bills” for his leadership style. On December 28, 2018, he announced that he will be retiring from NFL and played his last game against the Miami Dolphins.
